If you think you have already filled in your number, please double check as this is very important. All members must follow these steps: 1. Go to www.cserevue.org.au and log in 2. Click on Settings in the side bar or Edit My Profile at the top of the page 3. Type in your password and verify in the appropriate fields 4. Scroll down to university details and fill in the field Student ID with your student number 5. Scroll to the bottom and click Update Note: If you are not a student of UNSW, please put -1 in the field. There’s going to be a little bit of dancing, acting, improvisation, singing and a lot of fun! Each casting call will be held in the K17 Seminar Room. The dates and times for this year’s casting call are: Tuesday, 6th July, 6:00pm - 9:30pm Saturday, 10th July, 11:00am - 6:00pm Monday, 12th July, 6:00pm - 9:30pm Wednesday, 14th July, 6:00pm - 9:30pm These days are in the mid-year break, so we hope you can make them all. If you can’t make one or more of them, don’t panic, they are not all compulsory, however the more casting calls you are at, the more we get to see your enthusiasm and how much you want to do cast. So if you haven’t already, make sure you’ve marked yourself down as interested in cast so you can get reminders and updates on any news. Dance blocks are starting again in week 7, which is this week! The first session will be run by one of our choreographers, Robin Chow, this coming Tuesday
A dance block is a dance session where a choreographer comes and teaches a dance routine to all willing participants. It's a great way to get started with dancing if you've never done it before, and an awesome excuse for exercise regardless! There's absolutely no pressure for you to have any knowledge of dance - you just need to be willing to experiment with your body! :-) Event: Dance block! Hey everyone!
We hope you've all had a fantastic holiday so far and an amazing Christmas! As the new exec, we'd like to give a huge thanks to all those involved this past year. We had our most successful show ever, which we could not have pulled off without everyone's combined efforts. Kudos especially to this year's exec: Anne, Ben, Charissa, Em, Jane, Lambo, Mel, Rob and Stuart for their dedication and hard work in making this year such an unforgettable experience. Thanks to your efforts and motivation, we witnessed several monumental achievements - from moving to the Science Theatre, to having the largest audience for a CSE Revue EVER, to online ticketing and jumping castles, to a huge intake of new members into the society... and let's not forget that enormous LED screen which wowed audiences from the second the show started! ---------------------------- Membership 2009 ---------------------------- With the new year comes a fresh start, so remember to update your membership on the CSE Revue website - just go to www.cserevue.org.au and renew your membership for 2009. -------------------------------------- Organisational Committee -------------------------------------- For the society to get up and running for next year, it is essential that motivated, hard working and fun-loving people team up to lead members of CSE Revue in organising several aspects of CSE Revue. If you loved being involved with CSE Revue in 2008 and want to be even more involved with the society, then we recommend thinking of becoming part of the Organisational Committee of 2009. Feel free to come chat to us if you're interested but are unsure what the role requires. If you are interested in joining Orgs, email us at exec@cserevue.org.au ------- DVD ------- We had a fantastic show in 2008 and we'd like others to see it (and those who loved it to watch it countless times =P), so we're producing the CSE++ // Revue Goes Large DVD. Whether you have had years of experience in video editing, or are just looking to get involved over the summer, email us at exec@cserevue.org.au and help us immortalise the show in plastic for all to see. Once again, thanks for your efforts over this past year and we hope to see you involved next year :) Happy Holidays!
